Yikes. This story was kind of a mess but I could barely see it through all the red flags Silas was waving.
Moderate: Cursing, Abandonment, Death of parent, Injury/Injury detail, Alcohol, Sexual content, and Toxic relationship
Minor: Car accident, Sexual harassment, Infidelity, Pregnancy, Vomit, and Racism

This was my first Score novel and I really enjoyed it. I loved the balance of tension and romance. I thought the plot moved along nicely and kept me engaged.
I was a little nervous because I'm not a fan of YouTubers which Maggie, the main character is, but thankfully I wasn't overwhelmed by her job and I was thrilled with the fact that poor Silas was more my speed.
Maggie's character was really well written. Her workaholic tendencies were perfectly characterized and made for a very realistic character flaw.
I absolutely loved Silas. He was so fun loving. Perhaps a little pushier than I like but still very fun. I loved the opposites attract romance.
But what really sold me on this book were the mystery elements. They kept me turning the pages to find out all of the answers and I was not disappointed. It all wrapped up nicely and I was clueless about almost all of it.
I will definitely be checking out more Score books!
I received an advanced copy of this book through NetGalley. This is my honest review.
