In the spirit of honesty, I did not enjoy this book. I'm not even attempting a spoiler free review so only read what is ahead if you don't mind.

The main character, Reese, is a Christian and very naive and sheltered and the book spends a lot of time dwelling on that, making fun of it, and also taking her away from her beliefs. It was, in my opinion, very negative.

Fisher is about as opposite of Reese as possible and is very perverted and crass around her. He doesn't necessarily treat her poorly, but he is very blatantly sexual around her on purpose and with the age gap it is highly inappropriate.

I would have quit reading but so many of my bookstagram friends said the second book was so different that I decided to finish and I did like the second one better.

I read this book on Kindle Unlimited. This is my honest review
