Belly is so annoying. But also so is Conrad. Jere might be my favourite? Ugh it’s SO seventeen years old, so props for that. Painful though. And this one was really depressing.

Belly’s second summer with the Fisher boys was just as engrossing as the first. I love watching Belly grow up. I like the complexity of her feelings for Conrad, and the easiness of her relationship with Jeremiah. How can you pick which one she’s supposed to be with? The one that makes her heart swell but can’t help but put her through a rollercoaster of emotions? Or the one who has been her friend and thinks he needs her? One thinks he’s deserving, the other one doesn’t. It’s just the perfect love triangle, and I can’t wait to read the final chapter of their story.
