I really enjoyed this book, I usually stay away from horror books so was going into the book thinking I may not enjoy reading it but it was picked via a bookclub read so started it. I can therefore under stand why some Stephen King fans would be disappointed as its not a horror or supernatural story. The beginning was very slow but it really came alive once the hit that Billy had been hired for happened. His instinct not to follow the escape plan worked to his advantage. The introduction of Alice added another wonderful dimension. A hit man to fall in love with.
