“i’ll love you until my heart gives out. i’ll be your man for a thousand years. longer if i’m allowed.”

i had no idea that i needed a love story between a hard lined, swoon worthy fisherman and LA’s it girl set in a small seaside town this badly.

My expectations were on the floor. As I started this book, I felt like I could see the entire story in 20 different bad romcoms and immediately assumed I would hate it.

I was incredibly and very pleasantly surprised. I love pretty much everything about this book. I adored all characters (which I've learned is a must for me) and Brendan will take a place in my top 10 book boyfriends.

My only problem was the final conflict and how a guy that had been steady and understanding (*swoon*) the entire book suddenly turned into a different dude and got mad about something stupid and acted like it was the end of the relationship. Like what?! He has plenty of opportunities to do that earlier in the book. Why this one? I assume because the author couldn't figure out how to make an ending conflict. Immediately after the conflict was in process, Brendan miraculously returned to his body and realized he'd been a stupid man but the damage had been done. That's the only reason the book loses a star. Otherwise, heart melting perfection. ❤️

Estoy deseando leerla
