OH MY GOD.

This was so good, I'm crying. I would have read it all in one sitting except I fell asleep reading it last night because I was so exhausted. But then of course I woke up and immediately read the entire thing and I am LIVING.

But also I'm dead so.

the halo in the beginning to the halo at the end, the introduction of parse, jack"s oh moment and the zimbits kiss, the nostalgia of chowder making me a 2016 bandwagon irl sharks fan and then some...perfection

Still cute. I wanted a bit more buildup/tension from the romance tho. I also like thought the whole bitty being afraid of checking would be a bigger plot point here but he just overcame that fully off page? Which I thought was weird. But like I love the characters here so much and the team dynamics.

Love the webcomic. I love the detailed camaraderie of all the players. I did not have as much knowledge of hockey, but frankly, it didn't matter. Please continue reading this on checkpleasecomic.com and pay your respects to Ngozi, they are the best!

The Check Please series is one of my very, very favorite pieces of fiction I'm going to be reading and reading Check Please for the rest of my life. It's funny, it's clever, it's romantic, it's complicated, and it has a wonderful ensemble cast. It receives my very highest recommendation.
