I know it was written in 1927 and is a product of its time but this one was actually a little tough to get through. The racial terms regarding characters from China was hard. I continue my March through every Agatha Christie novel.

One of my favorite Agatha Christie books to date. Very entertaining and a good audiobook to listen to!
Before reading this book, I read the reviews, all that said this was not a very well written book. I tried not to judge it, because I hadn't read it yet. But, my expectations were pretty low after reading the reviews anyways. To my surprise, IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN LOWER THAN MY EXPECTATIONS. This was not typically Agatha Christie writing, it was more action than mystery. I was unsatisfied with this book.
