I never expected some of the turns this book took. Every time I thought I knew what was going on or where the events would lead next, I was wrong, there were more layers. Honestly, I loved every minute of it! This is what I expect when I read a dark academia. It was the perfect combination of dark, magic, suspense and mystery. My one complaint is the timeline jumping; it felt a bit disruptive, but maybe that was the point. I can’t wait to start Hell Bent!

This was just....man this was weird. I loved it....but it was a RIDE.

This was both everything and nothing I expected. It was a fantastic dark academia and nailed the horror fantasy vibe....but I definitely did not expect most of the twists and turns and how horrific and dark it got.

The whole concept of secret societies actually existing at one of the most elite Ivy League university's...the power the completely destroy or control or alter reality in the hands of the richest, most entitled children....it was the perfect setting for the dark and twisted story presented. It was just so unexpected but it all fit together so well that I am simply baffled.

It was so well written and unlike anything I've ever read and experienced, I just loved it. I need some time before continuing with Hell Bent, but this was really truly great.
