i would have liked it a lot more if the book hadn’t been rewritten to appeal the kids today it kinda threw it off for me. i really enjoyed each chapter being from a different girls perspective and the overall pacing of the book

I started watching the TV Show last fall and when the show took a break to film more episodes I had to know who killed Alison. So I bought the first book and I was hooked. I couldn't put them down. I would buy three at a time. I finished all 8 books in time for the new TV season to come on. I thought after the 8th book that it was over but I saw that there is a 9th coming out in July.

The things that bothered me most of this book is DESCRIBING EVERY SINGLE OUTFIT EACH CHARACTER WAS WEARING okay okay we get it they love to wear brands let's move on from that to something more interesting. The other thing was the student-teacher relationship :| it was uncomfortable but the whole time I was thinking of the actors that play Aria and Ezra on the tv show

I am addicted to a TV show about high-school girls and cyber bullying...and now I'm reading the books. No shame.

Just finished the show for the 3rd time and thought I'd give this a go. I absolutely adore the show, but dislike the sometimes questionable writing. So, maybe the books are better...

And they are! Well, the first one is! The characters are well layed out and seem to have more backstory. It's hard to picture them as different persons in the start, but you get used to it.

It's written at a fast pace and divided in short chalters. It is overall just a very fun read.

I hate to say this, but I love the TV Serie so much, that I couldn't get used to the differences. I think that the fact that my favorite couple in the show is not a couple on the books also helped to this decision (? It's a very good book though, but I recoment to read it before the Serie just in case...
