I needed this epilogue to Damen and Laurent’s story. Kings Rising left off at a bittersweet ending but thank god C.S. Pacat gave us what we needed and I could not have been happier!

What can I say except OMG I LOVED IT?!

I'm so glad I finally read this short story but I'm also so sad that it wasn't longer. I mean, it was perfect and it felt like the adequate length for what the story was trying to make you feel but Damen and Laurent are so incredibly perfect as characters and as a pairing that I always want more.

The subtle ways in which both characters had changed were so incredible and they denoted the passing of time and events in the trilogy. This was mostly noticeable in Laurent.

I'm so ready to reread the trilogy this summer and read this short story too.
