'Laurent had known, when he hadn't known himself.'

The Summer Palace is a beautiful epilogue to the trilogy. I loved reading about these two characters being happy and how Laurent's walls completely went down with Damen. They've talked about their demons and their past and I couldn't be happier for them.

'Having made the decision to let Damen in, Laurent had not gone back on it. When the walls went up, it was with Damen inside them.'

Loved the side story! Seeing Damen and Laurent finally at peace is all I wanted. I do hope the author comes out with a spin off series for Jord!
