Even aside from the blatant xenophobia/racism/sexism of the entire premise, the ending was very lazy and the characters were all so two-dimensional. I confess I was rooting for Dracula the entire time and hoping he'd finish them all off.

This is a classic for a reason. It's a wonderful story that's well developed and full of suspense. Strongly recommend.

More boring than I expected, mostly due to the terribly slow pace in most parts. The main part I enjoyed was the situation with Lucy; the pacing was pretty decent there and it did actually feel tense. But overall not really horror or thriller! Obviously standards for genres are different today though, so it's hard to really judge it that way.
