Read as part of my gilmore girls reading challenge. While I find Lillian hellman and her blacklisted history interesting and the subject matter of the play important, I didn't connect to this piece at all. It read to me as a lesser Atonement by Ian McEwan (which I love!)

Pretty brilliant considering that it was written in 1934.
