I read this for school, so I don't have much to say about it, unless you want to read my essay. Love the imagery and symbolism. Fantastic similes. My major contribution to this review, however...

Dante x Virgil is canon and you cannot convince me otherwise. Like, come on. First Virgil puts his hands around Dante's neck in Canto VIII, then he kisses his forehead?

What's more flirtatious than Virgil saying, "Blessed is she who bore you in her bosom"? *fans self*

Oh and, "...while we are down here, I will never leave you." Declaration of commitment much?

Don't get me wrong, I love a good platonic relationship between guys but... "Then tenderly he took me by the hand..."

Ah, yes. Fanfiction in its earliest form.

Dantes Inferno.
Stedet, hvor man straffes for at være kæmpe.
Hvor man kan komme til at sparke til hoveder ved en fejl.
Hvor Djævlens finere dele er selve verdens midte.
Stedet, som har fået døde hvide mænd til i 100 år at diskutere dets egentlige størrelse med diverse kloge argumenter, hvorefter det blev fastlagt ud fra hvad tagkonstruktionen kan holde til.
