Okay, so Christian and Emile have one of the greatest meet cutes and I'm totally here for it. From the beginning I was picking up everything they were dropping. These two together
These two...they make me irritated and frustrated beyond belief, but it was overall enjoyable. I'm glad I read Not Dating Material (book 2) first because I may not have stuck with the series after reading this one. That third-act break up made me so mad and here's why:
THEY KNEW IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN! They had discussed this as being a possibility with his grandmother doing/saying whatever they could to stop this. They had a whole plan for when this was going to happen and...Christian folded under the pressure. He knew the answer (Emile would back the play) but still chose to fold.
Besides all that, I loved everything else about the book. Setting up the cast of characters for the next books in the series with perfection. I am excited to see what's coming next because this group of guys are just amazing.
Teddy Hamilton and James Joseph did such an amazing job. I mean, Teddy can do no wrong and being paired with him for a book narration just guarantees it's going to be amazing.
