This was recommended in a book group for having a certain *scene*. It did, but wasn’t with the FMC and wasn’t a huge focus (boo). That scene was the reason I willingly read this one, twelfth in a series, without reading the others first but after getting through this one, I enjoyed it enough I’d like to go back to the series’ start and read the rest.

It did what few books this year have managed to do - hold my attention. It hooked me quickly and kept me entertained. Parts felt underdeveloped and I wished it was longer and went into details in more parts. The ending felt rushed too. But overall, it was an enjoyable read.

I devoured this story. Ok, I devoured every book in this series, but this one is now my favorite. Amazing characters, tons of steam, a great story line, and a HEA ending. It was perfection!

Not really in the mood for this type of story- I started reading because I’d read this a while back, half-remembered the story but not the title. So when I figured out it was this book I got excited and started reading.

It was entertaining, but!
What I found annoying was how she kept disparaging the sex work that the other women do in the stables.

Yes, this is the book I've been hoping for the last couple of installments I've been reading of this series. The book has a nice level of smut plus an actual story with character development and a decent conflict. I also like the contrast that Grimm is seen as the bad centaur but he doesn't have to keep his mate in check with 'punishments' as the docile centaurs do in the previous two books. I like that a lot better the previous two books were almost cringy in those moments.

It would've been nice though to see Rebecca's evil sister get her comeuppance but I guess that was too much to ask for.

Who knew that centaurs could get even better? Grimm is the latest character in this series and he is excellent. He's dark, at times cruel and hard, and still amazing. Rebecca is surprisingly strong and hard under her soft exterior and I enjoyed watching the two characters face off in various ways and learn from each other and grow. This was a fantastic book with depth and emotion as well as plenty of smexy fun. If you enjoy your romance stories to be original and outside of the box, this one is definitely for you.

Each new centaur release she writes is better than the last one and this one was such a delicious read.

With a name like Grimm you can expect dark and deviant and it delivered. Enjoyed getting to go inside Dire’s End and the infamous omega stables. Grimm’s development from crude leader of the dark centaurs to loving mate is that bad boy conversion ladies dream of.

The pacing was perfect. It did not feel rushed nor did it drag. Exactly the pace I expected for the story being told. So many tropes and kinks listed below. Truly hope we get to go back to Dire’s End again for story featuring Barok or Lance.

saddle bondage // human omega female stables where sex heals battle weary centaur warriors // impact play // punishment sex // size difference // breeding kink // primal kink // mutual “feeding” // slow burn // HEA
