Definitely one of my favourite MMM books, would love to read more about them
I am so obsessed with Briar Prescott. This gave me ace rep, a beautiful poly throuple and so many tender, loving moments. My heart is so full. Also I love this « two best friends helplessly in love but too scared to take a risk, picking up a stray who turns out to be the missing piece they’d been needing all along », i LOVE THIS!
This was so cute I wanted to highlight everything, there was a bit of drama but I was so in love with all three of them they were truly perfect for each other. The pacing was nice and slow, and I loved the way it steadily grew into this beautiful thing they shared.

Beautiful, heartwarming, emotional, romantic love story. MMM books are not for all authors (often they're all just about sex), but Briar Prescott totally delivered: this is one of my favourite polyamory story.
Drew, Bas, Ezra are so perfect, they slowly fit into each other in a total and complete way. There are no predominant men or submissive ones, they all bring the best into their relationship, they balance each other and their chemistry is undeniable.
And Bas's sexuality is truly well written: there is only one sex scene with the three of them and it fits perfectly well into the story, it's steamy but also so sweet. There aren't many other sex scenes in this book (just the one at the beginning with Ezra and Drew), but they're not missed, the love between the three of them is so big and overwhelming that completely fill their lives.
Bas deserves a special mention because he can be a lot of fun!
I totally recommend this book, even if you're not into polyamory story, because this is truly a wonderful romance.

It didn't take much for me to love Drew, Bas, and Ezra separately, and when the three of them came together I thought my heart was going to explode with happiness. On the surface, it might seem strange how these men with totally different careers and lifestyles could fit together so well, but Ezra, Bas, and Drew slotted into place like the missing pieces of a puzzle. Just because I could see how wonderful the three of them were together didn't mean that these men made it easy on themselves--like in any relationship, they had to put in the hard work and energy to make their connection grow.
Though Drew and Bas did have a lot of shared history, I never felt like Ezra was a third wheel to their relationship. If anything, Drew and Bas seemed to have more difficulty adjusting to the change in their relationship after so many years of keeping their feelings locked away. Ezra's presence seemed to balance out the jagged edges of the other two men, and I genuinely don't think their relationship would have worked out unless it was all three of them together. I was initially worried that Bas's asexuality would turn into a big deal when it came to the physical side of their romance, but this author did a great job exploring the difference between emotional and physical intimacy. I never once felt like Bas was "less involved" because he wasn't interested in sex, and as someone who identifies as greysexual it was amazing to see more representation in this story.
While the focus of this story was undoubtedly on the growing emotional connection between Bas, Ezra, and Drew, I really enjoyed the overall storyline as well. Seeing Ezra go from homeless and struggling to living in a secure household with clear goals for himself was incredibly motivating. Drew and Bas's storylines were less clear cut, but I was thrilled to see them conquer the demons from their past and come to terms with their more difficult emotions. All three of these men had to learn how to lean on each other and give support when it was needed, and though it certainly wasn't easy for them to get there, that lovely epilogue was proof that the bond they built could and would last a lifetime.
**I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.

Putting this at a solid 3, because there were many things I enjoyed about this book, but unfortunately I found an almost equal amount of things I didn’t like.
Firstly, I don’t think third person POV worked for this story at all. The book mostly followed Ezra, so it might as well have been in his POV and then we could get deeper into at least one of the characters. But I didn’t feel like any of them were anything more than very surface-level, and I didn’t feel connected to any of them.
I do think the dynamic of the relationship worked well. I kind of love that Drew and Bas were in love with each other for years and kind of dancing around their mutual feelings, and then Ezra came in as the missing piece of their puzzle. While Drew and Bas were both pretty quick to anger and had more dramatic moments, Ezra was the more laidback one, who kind of helped them patch things up and cool down.
I also really liked the ace representation in this story, and I like that Bas still had a place in Drew and Ezra’s sex life. But I was super disappointed in the spice in this book, which was pretty much nonexistent. There was the original hookup when Drew and Ezra met for the first time, and then there was a scene of all of them together, but that was it. I would’ve liked to see more of how their dynamic could’ve worked around Bas’s asexuality but it seemed to just have eradicated sex from the relationship altogether.
I loved the hurt/comfort aspects of the beginning of the book. How Bas and Ezra formed their little friendship while Drew was out of town. And I liked how they worked on their individual relationships inside of the group. When Bas and Drew were having problems, Ezra didn’t isolate himself but he gave them space to figure things out together.
But mostly, it was the connection I was missing in this book, which sucks because I usually get way too attached to Briar Prescott’s characters, so it was kind of jarring to have the opposite problem. Also there wasn’t any of the banter we’re used to from other books. All things considered, this story was just kind of meh.

I feel like if I write a review on this book, it’ll take away from what it is.
Go in blind with this one. It makes the experience MORE.

I didn't really click with this one. Baz and Drew spent so much time without talking to each other about the important things. Ezra being the calm stabilizing force was unexpected since he initially came off so standoffish and angry. I liked seeing him grow into the character he was at the end.
