Since I’ve wanted to read poetry recently, I asked my dad for some recommendations and this was one of them. I loved it, and it’s been a great introduction to poetry and how language can weave a beautiful picture of someone’s life experience.

Thank you to libro fm and the publishers for a free listening copy
It’s always good to hear poetry read by the author so you can really feel it how it is meant to be felt
Unfortunately, this author’s style just wasn’t vibing with me for whatever reason, so I didn’t love this as much as I thought I was going to. But there wasn’t anything inherently wrong with it either, purely a me problem
