This wasn’t necessarily a bad book but big downside is lack of Audiobook. It would go much in line with green premise of the book and would make it more accessible. 2 stars mostly because it was not revolutionary book. Not a lot of new information I learned from there but some useful thoughts!

Probably read this at the wrong time. It’s just a smaller version of TCE. Would’ve been a good pocket introduction if I read it back in 2014. Seems old (and a bit disheartening tbh) now. Talking about Alexis Tspiras and podemos etc

Must read to understand the inseparable dependence of climate change to the current world economic structure of capitalism and consumerism.

When the climate meets capitalism it’s always bound to fall into harmful territory. Klein really excels in explaining exactly why we should be worried, provides excellent digestible solutions and paves the path through to the next round of climate activism and work that needs to be done.
