Another “this book started off really strong and then TANKED” situation. All I have the energy to say is save yourself the trouble because the ending is absurd. I know fiction is fiction but JFC.
I was really excited to read this too damn it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The plot kept me on my toes- each twist leading to more unexpected surprises. The story was original, emotional, and heartwarming, and the ending was very satisfying. I am definitely looking forward to reading more from this author!

One of the twists is too obvious. Which would be fine if it wasn’t one of the main sources of suspense. For an allegedly suspenseful book, it can really get quite boring.

But worst of all, I don’t think this author understands mental illness well enough to write a book so focused on it.

The Stillwater Girls by Minka Kent is a domestic thriller that was very emotional. Narrated by Lauren Ezzo and Melissa Moran.
