I wanted to give this a chance because of the Netflix movie. If you have similar thought…don’t. The writing is abysmal.
I started this book because of all the buzz. I could not finish it. The verbal and mental abuse depicted is not my thing. Could be triggering to many. READ WITH CARE.

2 stars. This was just as terrible and batshit insane as the terrible and batshit insane Netflix film. Like I legitimately feel dumber for having read this whole thing. Will definitely read the next book when it gets translated though.

If you have seen the movie then you have to read the book! If you like Mafia or Billionaire romances this is a book for you.
We meet our alpha male at the end of his business trip. He has just arrived home and spies our feisty female as he drives away from the airport. Our feisty female has come to town for a birthday vacation with her boyfriend. Said boyfriend leaves her alone and unhappy on her birthday so she runs and removes herself from his presence. Enter our alpha male and his deal. She ends up taking his deal because choices.
This all being said there is a bit of dub-con so if that is not your bag do not read. This is also part 1 of a trilogy and I want to know what happens next.
