What an amazing book! This book was filled with pain, sorrow, tragedy, slow-burn romance, strong-female characters, forgiveness and characters that relied entirely on Christ. The faith part of it was well written and flowed naturally with the plot of the book, it did not feel forced at all.

The plot and characters were very-well thought out. The characters felt real. They suffered grief and we saw in later chapters how they struggled with it. It wasn’t just forgotten. There was fighting and death and I liked how it wasn’t sugar-coated at all, like how some Christian books do.

Also Lagon and Justin have my heart 🥺💛💛

I loved how unique the book was. We got to see Zora, a secret island off the coast of England that is hidden by storm clouds, where people are able to talk telepathically to one another. Also! This book also features fire-breathing unicorn Pegasi! Need I say more?

I’m looking forward to reading the next book and exploring more of Zora!

I received a free copy of this book and all thoughts are honest and my own.
