Listened to on audiobook borrowed from library. 
 I definitely understand the buzz around this book since it deals with timely and relevant topics that seem to be on the front of the minds of the collective culture right now. The story pace is good with both character developments and pretty consistently plot developments.
Topics this book tackles are: AI (ethics, as well as the pace of development), dynamics and complexities of marriage, parenting both family roles  and parent responsibility for their children and technology, different types of privilege, and the role of general technology in all our lives already.
Also plays around with narrator reliability. Not the book for you if you want to easily love the characters in the story-including your protagonist.
