This was such a beautiful story of healing, relearning through trauma, and being loved without question or expectation. Thatcher and Lyra share such a special connection and the love they have for each other is unconditional in its purest form. The characters in this series have honestly cemented themselves into my heart, they’re up there with the rest of my favourites. Do yourselves a favour and pick this up!

"Death is trivial. He can't keep you from me. I'll follow you to the grave every time and find you in each life after"
THEIR STORY IS MY FAVOURITE FOREVER AND EVER. My favourite dark romance of the year BY FAR. They are made for each other. Lyra the weird bug collector who likes to make people bleed, and Thatcher the son of a serial killer who also has an affinity with brutal murder. ADORABLE.

This was my favorite in the series so far, I 100% get why Thatcher was the one to get 2 books, and I think it was needed!
This book picks up exactly where the last one left off, and the plot made sense. I really liked the development of Lyra and Thatcher’s relationship and also watching him grow and learn and acknowledge his feelings for the first time in so long. It felt a lot deeper and more realistic than in part one, where I felt bad for them but Thatcher’s behavior just annoyed the hell out of me, even though his inability to face and communicate his feelings made sense.
I couldn’t rate this higher because to me, the ending felt rushed and too neatly wrapped in a bow. I would have liked to see the shift that accompanied his actions in the end, and how Lyra dealt with the trauma and betrayal she had to face. All in all, my favorite, can’t wait to read Silas’ book
