I grew fond of the Witcher world and all of the characters over time, so I very much enjoyed reading this after a long break from the Witcher books. Geralt’s adventures are always fun.

Fine tie-in to round off the series, although it rather misses the sparkle that made the other books so enjoyable. Geralt does more of the same, without much of the usual supporting cast, and not much in either backstory, lore or thrill is added to the series as a whole.

If you enjoyed the Witcher book series then this entry is not for you. This was definitely made for the video game fans and doesn’t contribute to the Witcher story. This book was littered with fart jokes, over sexualization of female characters, and anti-abortion rhetoric.
