Trato y sigo tratando con este autor. No entiendo la fascinación que le tienen. Me parece repetitivo, aburrido, comercial, pseudo new age. Hasta acá llegue. No leo mas de este tipo.

I'm confused. Someone explain why this is notable?? Name recognition? New translation?

It's an allegory. It must be an allegory. Right?

The Archer is essentially a children's version of Eugen Herrigel's Zen in the Art of Archery. It's great that such a book exists, but you are far better off reading Herrigel's canonical text without adulteration. The paintings spread out across this book were quite nice and complimented the overall themes about mastery and pursuit that are so central to the understanding of archery---or any other skill for that matter.
