The Good Sister

I've seen this title mentioned a few times on Bookstagram (* an Instagram account focused on books -- I like @meagansbookclub the best), and it was such a delight to read -- a great page-turner for the summer, a bit of a thriller but more like a novel with some really strong character development, not just plot.

I especially liked the alternating voices each chapter -- Rose through her diary entries and Fern through narration. There were just a couple of places where I had to suspend some reality, but I was all-in on this book and didn't want to quibble.

Will definitely seek out more by this author.

Fern was utterly unlikeable and then when she "forgot" to do a simple task her sister asked her to do I decided she was irredeemable.

Twins are so sketchy in thrillers

It took me a bit longer to get into this storyline, but once I did, I was hooked! Quite the twist!
