Audio - good audiobook. Good narrator, interesting insights into the twins, and their characters, especially Fern who, though never labeled, seemed to be what I think of as high-functioning autistic. Plus I love it that she is a librarian! And Rose is so manipulative but seems so to have such pure motives, and Wally is perfect for Fern.

Not what I expected. Also, did not pick up til 70% of the way through. However I did enjoy the quotes about the complicated, sometimes even contradictory feelings, towards sister relationships.

I cannot give an accurate rating of this book seeing as it triggered some old memories for me and gave me the worst PTSD nightmare I've had in well over a year. This book is all gaslighting of a neurodivergent person from someone close and considered family to them.

Loved this one by Miss Hepworth. This is my third book by SH and maybe my fave. I absolutely loved that it was both twisted and happy. One of the twists was obvious imo, but it made it no less fun reading. And the ending ended up being even twistier than I guessed. Anyway. Really liked this one.

So good. Loved this one by Sally H. She has perfected the domestic thriller that features close familial relationships at the center of it. While I am glad I’ve never had a childhood like the one depicted in this novel, the twistiness and gut-churning moments keep the tension going all the way to the satisfying end. And a bonus: there was a romance involved here and Ioved that.
