The Good Sister

An enjoyable summer read. I really liked the character of Fern, she was easy to root for and her character grew and changed as best she could with her issues. The middle of the book does gloss over quite a bit and jumps us forward in the plot without much happening, which was annoying and unrealistic. The twist of Rose being the "bad sister" wasn't too much of a surprise but just how "bad" WAS a surprise. Overall, a fun, quick read that doesn't require too much brainpower, which makes it an ideal beach/summer book.

Not bad! Loved how it flowed, and absolutely fell in love with Fernie, Wally and then Willow. I figured out the big reveal early on and so the ending was kind of flat for me. *SPOILER* I did think Owen was dead, murdered as well. 3.5 ⭐

Oh wow! This will be a short review because I think the less you know, the better the story! This is my second Sally Hepworth read, and she can really deliver on characters that manage to manipulate you right from the written page. If you’re in the mood for a domestic/psychological thriller, grab The Good Sister!
