I loved the autistic representation of the FMC. I loved her so much. I loved these characters and while this isn't the most heart racing thriller I've ever read, I really enjoyed this one. It was a cozy thriller (I'm autistic)

This is a hard book to review. Parts are hilarious, parts are disturbing, parts are charming, and then some are sad. I really liked Fern's POV. It's never fully stated, but she clearly has autism. As someone who has worked with children with autism for decades, her bumbles and mishaps are endearing. Really good book!

Loved it!

Love love love. Started off the holidays right by polishing this off in a day. I think the blurb really does the book a disservice… it’s so much better than the blurb lets on

This book was so creepy!! Really loving Sally’s work at the moment. Did not expect the twist. And I’m usually pretty good at guessing them

This had more chick-lit than thriller vibes but reading about Fern and her quirks was lovely and entertaining
