An easy read and insight to a little bit of neurodiversity! Definitely a creepy story and suspenseful on who to trust.

This book was amazing! I laughed out loud multiple times and cried near the end. This was a book I could not put down and loved all the twists and turns.
I fell in love with Fern and Wally’s relationship. The scene where he takes her to dinner and helps with her sensory issues was so cute.

A solid 3 stars. The story and characters kept me engaged and wanting to find out what happened to Fern and Rose and Wally. There were no major twists and turns, but it was still an enjoyable story.

I went in blind and really liked this.
DO NOT go in expecting a psychological thriller or mystery and get all upset that it's not.
It's definitely a domestic drama with a dash of corky romance and a teeny dash of suspense.
I loved Fern and Wally. The "twists" were all easy to see from a mile away, but I found myself gigging and routing for Fern all along the way.
Cute little drama.

this book was so good. hepworth wrote the two sisters and their relationship so well. it was one of those books when i think i know what was going to happen, i was in for a surprise. the duality between fern and rose was great bc it showed the story in two ways and i was left to wonder what was real or not. definitely one of her best books in my opinion. i did figure out some twists, but it did not detract from my overall enjoyment. hepworth is the queen of domestic thrillers to say the least.

Probably closer to 3.5. My main gripe with this book is that the first half is just build up, things don’t become “thriller-y” until after that (which is a little too long for me). But the second half is great.

Fun read and a good story, but was just a bit too predictable for me
