I've been wondering how these books kept going even though it seemed like every person we met story had been told. It was nice to revisit a character and get a little more in depth.
During some parts, I was pretty upset how the "Latino" characters were portrayed, but I think it's partially because some things hit a nerve.
I'm so glad we're getting to the point where women can leave cheating good for nothing men instead of "bearing a burden" or whatever else they say to convince themselves.

I’ve started this series after watching the Netflix show (which was a great escape from reality show). These books are ok- I’ve started the series so I’m determined to finish them- but there definitely something to borrow from the library vs buying
I enjoyed getting to know Karen and Elliot better.

I loved this book, some people described Karen as unbearable during the story, but as someone that has hone through a similar situation financially i 100% understand why she likes to budget every penny and is nervous about everything that happens in the story. I even think that the way her worries were described was incredible.
