First off. Though this was written by Agatha Christie, it's not really a whodunit. It's a more like a spy novel, which is fine.

I do not know how historically accurate the depiction of Baghdad is, but given Christie's personal life experience, I assume it's true to her perspective. A fascinating look into the past.

I also appreciate Christie's dedication to including a little matchmaking in most of her books. Truly a delight.
