I was a bit disappointed by the performance because it was supposed to be narrated by two narrators but it was Elizabeth Hart all along. Joe Hempel read only the epilogue.
I would have love to hear him so much more.
The story itself was great and enjoyable but I miss deeper feelings and deeper story around. Don’t get me wrong this book was good but I would have love to have more of Duck and Charlie.
Charlie was a bit too naïve for me. I understood what she felt about her job and that she didn’t know what to do.
Duck was grumpy and didn’t want to have to do anything with any journalist. But Charlie will try to tear down his walls to have a better access to his heart.

I really enjoyed this book and thought the story was very well written. Charlie and duke are lovely and i very much so enjoyed their story. I loved the plot and absolutely loved the ending. Charlie and duke both deserved to be happy after all the stuff they’ve both been through and I’m glad they found it with each other. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

I love books by Maria Luis and hockey romances by her are brilliant. This one is shorter than some of her other books but the story is completely there and character development is still great. Will definitely be reading the rest of the series.
