It gave “Glass Onion” vibes. It kept me on my toes & I LOVED how diverse each character was. I was not expecting the ending & I loved the mystery behind all of it.
Minor: Murder, Addiction, Alcohol, Death of parent, Terminal illness, Classism, Abandonment, Alcoholism, Toxic relationship, Cursing, and Death

This was easy to read, medium paced, and lighthearted. It does talk about death, being about a will, but doesn't describe any gore in details. I'm better at comparing to movies, and one I'd say this is somewhat similar to is The Whole Nine Yards. Doesn't take itself too seriously, but is nevertheless still interesting.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading, "Over Her Dead Body." Full of twists, some obvious. Others not so much. Made for both "Ah ha! I knew it!" moments and "Oh no they didn't!"
Set from several character's point of views, switching chapter to chapter, this story is mostly about a woman who is willing to do anything to teach her kids, whom she views as spoiled and entitled, a lesson. Even if it means her dying.
The jumping from character to character slowed to pace some, since it sometimes backtracked the timeline, but it also opened insight to what each was thinking. So sympathizing with everyone was made easy, and added to the mystery.. Good character development. The characters are led down a slow, twisty plot that savors each turn. Story felt complete, true to the character's setups, and satisfying at the end.
