It gave “Glass Onion” vibes. It kept me on my toes & I LOVED how diverse each character was. I was not expecting the ending & I loved the mystery behind all of it.

This was gossipy and entertaining, but the description threw me off.
I didn’t know if I wanted to read it because it was categorised as a thriller, but I think that’s a bit misleading. I also don’t find it to be that dark. If you’re looking for a Thriller, this is probably not it.

This is a book about family secrets with the smallest amount of murder. Like a lifetime movie.

I don’t know if I liked how the ending message is that Luisa is at fault for everything. I think adults should be responsible fore their actions.

Take this as an entertaining family drama book with a hint of Clue sprinkled in and you’ll have a good time.

I personally found this book gripping and I love the plot twist. The writing is a little weak, but perhaps it's meant to be considering the main character.

I don't get surprised by a twist very often, and I wasn't expecting the final one, so points for that.

This read like a parody of suspense novels, but took itself too seriously to completely pull it off. And while flawed protagonists can make things interesting, the reader still needs someone to root for. Personally, I didn't find that here. Every character was annoyingly selfish and incapable of seeing anything from another's point of view.

Though I won't go so far as to say reading this was a waste of time, it will sit and collect virtual dust going forward rather than be reread. And I have no interest in checking out other works by the author.
