I loved this book. Randomly stumbled across it and I am so glad I did. I feel like it flowed from P&P really well, loved this different timeline.

I loved this take on the original story. The characters' motivations were well fleshed out and the romantic tension was wonderfully executed. It took Darcy and Elizabeth's main issues of miscommunication and actually worked through them making their affections for each other more believable and earned.

I read this a few weeks ago and forgot to add it, apparently. It was fun and soft; Lizzie was much more polite than I’m used to; Mrs. Bennett is a treasure.

This is how Jane Austen spin-offs should be! I know this is literally fanfiction but Ormison really had me believing I was still reading the original P&P with a few alterations. Everything was so well done, and I could see that she respected and cared for the characters' personalities. Plus, I really liked that it took time for Elizabeth and Darcy's relationship to fully develop and to see each other as equals. Definitely a must read for any fan of the original book.
