Great writing. But the back-and-forth of does she, doesn't she; does he, doesn't he got a little too tiresome.

Not a big fan I thought it was a bit slow but I think I just didn’t realize the scope of the story was so narrow. But it was just super slow.

that was fun!

help I stayed up until 5am rereading this, I love them BAD

my opinion is much the same as last time; once you accept this for what it is (a retelling), instead of expecting a reprint of Jane Austen's original work, this story is so so lovely. and it's still so satisfying to see Wickham lose

Elizabeth and Darcy, my beloveds

It was a lot of fun to feel mainly like I was back in the P & P world again. The twist was thoughtful and believable. There are a few moments that felt more like a standard romance novel, but on the whole I must say: Well played, Ms. Ormiston!

This was lovely! It’s been years since I read the original book, but I do love a Jane Austen media adaptation. This was such a fun way to get back into written work (even if it is fan fiction). When I told friends about this book, they all asked the same questions: what about Lydia and Wickham, Jane and Bingley? I really loved the liberties this book took and felt like they were realistic portrayals of the characters. It was also so fun to see events we know from the story trough a different lens, or on a different timeline.

One of the best P&P fanfics I have read with the occasional "off" dialogue.
