The 9th and final Alex Rider book. Wow, this is quite possibly the best ending the series could have ever had. Would I ever have chosen it to end this way? No. But that's why I'm not a writer. The ending was tragic, yet triumphant. It was realistic, in a sense that you shouldn't really expect this series about a reluctant teen spy to end in Disney fashion of "happily ever after". Great job Anthony Horowitz!
