Scorpia Rising

4.04 AVERAGE

Out of all the Alex Rider books, Scorpia Rising and Snakehead were my favorite. Unlike so many of the other books, Scorpia Rising wasn't extremely predictable (such as Ark Angel). The story was nicely written, and it was something I really enjoyed. The way Horowitz wrote it kept my attention throughout the book. The end was surprising for me, which also made it more distinct from some of the other books. A really good book. Definitely worth reading.

Review - It is an epic conclusion to the series as Alex loses the person he holds most dear. The emotions of the characters came across more cleanly, particularly after the last few books. I really liked how Jack was more involved in this one as well. Scorpia Rising is without a doubt my favourite Alex Rider novel. I also really loved how you got to hear one third of the story from the point of view of the evil side. I also liked how Scorpia came back, and Julius Grief - it tied together most of the loose ends from the previous books. An awesome conclusion.
