Suddenly, the series is over. Oh man. Suddenly. But the twist of Horowitz finally bringing back Julius like I knew he would okay I'm so happy about that. I was really hoping. We needed some reoccurring villainy. That being said, I also spent a few chapters thinking Razim was that guy from the Indian secret service from the last book. But he wasn't. Don't make the mistake I made!
I had been expecting for a while that Alex would end up being adopted by Mrs. Jones, and I guess I am a little disappointed that it didn't happen that way. Tulip deserves some happiness in her life, she really does.
I can now feel the emotional drain from finishing this series kicking in.
Spoiler
Did anyone else think this ended oddly? Like, okay, I respect Horowitz for killing off Jack, although it took me a while before I believed it actually happened. The whole Alex-is-emotionally-damaged-for-life thing makes total sense after that too, and after what Blunt did I was entirely okay with him being forced out of office. But that very last bit, where Alex is suddenly adopted by the Pleasures? I'm not okay with it. It's too much of the perfect fairy tale ending that I would expect my middle school self to think up. But it's WEIRD, okay? Like, oh, I really like you Sabina, but now you're pretty much my sister and we're living together, so that wont be awkward at all, especially not if we do start officially dating, or worse if we break up. Nope, nothing weird there.I had been expecting for a while that Alex would end up being adopted by Mrs. Jones, and I guess I am a little disappointed that it didn't happen that way. Tulip deserves some happiness in her life, she really does.

Its the last book. It's the end of Alex Rider. My heart is broken. My life will have a hole that will never be filled.

This final Alex Rider book was definitely less action-packed than the previous books, and I don't think I enjoyed it as much as some of the others. However, for being the final book, it did a good job of wrapping up the story.
LOVE!!! I was seriously blown away by this book, especially the ending!! I was like " WHAT?! NO..OMG. WHAT!?" yeah so definitely read this series
