A beautifully layered story of 2 sisters. A very heartwarming read!

A book about sisterhood, romance, rebuilding broken relationships, and finding new ones. Add to that a beach setting and this is the perfect summer read. I will say that the character of Kat was a little irritating at times due to her immature and selfish behavior, but I'm happy to say she was able to redeem herself before all was said and done. This was a sweet story.

A sweet book to finish off summer with. Modern and charming (with subtle nods to The Parent Trap), I found myself completely wrapped up in the story. The evolution/growth of the main characters was quite predictable - and overly sentimental at times - but the house-reno premise, likable love interests, focus on family, and recurring dog escapades created a fun reading experience. I’d easily recommend this novel.

I haven’t found many beach read romances that I want to give 5 stars to. But this book earned those 5 stars.

Blake had a weekend relationship with her dad until her mother died when she was young. Kat had a rocky relationship with both of her parents, but always felt like they were putting on a show. When the girls are 10, they meet at a summer camp and instantly feel connected… as adults, they find out that their connection is much closer than they think.

I love so much about this book — the characters, the setting, the plot. I can honestly say that I was not disappointed.

This will be the perfect summer read for those days where you want to escape.

Thank you NetGalley and Berkley Books for the e-ARC of this book!

I received this book through a Goodreads giveaway.

What a fun book!! A nice easy read with a happy ending is a great break and good for relaxation. And, I'm a sucker for happy endings. Love how the end of the story was tied together in the epilogue as well. A very good read!!
