Honestly nowhere near as fun as the first book. It felt a little paint-by-numbers after reading the first--the lady is going to pick up a collection ~5 of monsters, feel kinda guilty about it, decide to date all of them, and then fall in love.

I enjoyed the romances and how all the characters came together. I like how open everyone was and accepting of each others kinks and desires. The overall plot was pretty simple and it was easy to deduce who the danger was.
My only pet peeve was that one of Hazel's lovers called her Nut (Hazelnut) which irked me to no end. But whatever. It's stupid.
Over all really enjoyed this and will probably reread it many times.

Kathryn Moon has quickly become one of my all time favorite romance authors. I’m just obsessed with her characters and her ability to make me fall in love with multiple people for completely different reasons. This is a reverse harem monster romance between Hazel (half-nymph) and her 5 heroes: Ronan (imp), Hunter (orc), Nirea (giant), Constantine (demon), and Jude (half-fae). Some relationships progressed super quickly while some were surprisingly slow burn, and I absolutely loved the contrast between the two. My favorite hero kept changing while I was reading it, but if I had to pick one I’d probably pick Hunter (the shy/bashful but secretly dominant orc). I personally would rate this a 5 on my spice scale. This was super steamy with a variety of different scenes (ie., MF, MMMM, MMMFMM) but also had a lot of very sweet and romantic moments as well.

This is the second installment to her Tempting Monsters series. While there are some interconnected characters and overlapping plot points, I don’t think you need to read book 1 in order to fully enjoy this one. Available on Kindle Unlimited.

TW ~ Sexual content Includes (all consensual): D/s master/pet dynamics, pain/pleasure play (extreme heightened sensation, no physical damage) includes mf, mmf, mmfmmmm, and mm content. , murder (off page discussion and on page action), violence (strangulation, gore, magical spoilery violence, all in scenes of action and conflict), past family emotional trauma

Hazel Nix have been part of the theater for a long time. Most of it lonely. She had found herself tired of the theater when things start to change. She finds herself interested in men and cautioned at the murders of her friends.

I loved the how everyone finally found a family and a place/ person where they can be themselves!
