After hugely disappointing 'Restore Me', 'Defy Me' has picked back up.
I am shelving this under 'guilty pleasures' as it is definitely not the best literature, but I have loved
it nonetheless.

Would give more but picked it up already halfway through and didn't fully remember the plot

i don’t know why i thought this was a trilogy, apparently there are EIGHT BOOKS. and no i don’t care that some of them are novellas, there is absolutely no reason for a storyline that could fit into a single movie be stretched out into eight books.

Let me start this by saying that it is so hard to love some of these characters when they're as stupid as they are. Some of them never learned when to stop talking and I'm here to teach them that because they NEED IT. Anyways, while I enjoyed this book a lot more than the others it's still missing that magic something that makes me unable to put it down. Honestly, if it weren't for Kenji I don't know if I would've continue reading this series. I'm here for Kenji and Nazeera only.

P.S. If Evie Sommers has zero haters, then I'm dead.
