Heartbreaking perfection!

This book was absolute perfection. It all started with a chance encounter and a lie that blossomed into something magical. The trauma that Halley endured broke my heart but the love she found in Tara, Whitney, and Reed put it back together. The tension and forbidden relationship kept me on edge. The ending was everything an HEA should be.

I love how Jennifer Hartmann takes you through every emotion in her books, even making a taboo situation feel hopeful! Halley and Reed’s story is nothing but tragedy and heartbreak, while also putting you through emotional empathy for every character! I even felt attached to Scotty! I loved how she gave us the different characters POV throughout the story, made me feel even more connected. Love doesn’t always win in the end, but it will always heal.
