I picked this up as part of a reading challenge.  The writing is gorgeous and gripping.  The story can be challenging, but I was invested in Halley. I wanted to see things through with her.  I dated someone 25 years older than me when I was in my early twenties so I empathised with her.  The author mentions at the start that this book isn't for everyone and she's right but I was glad I read it.
