I truley loved this book and all the queerness and all the connections and the wacky plot. It reminded me of Do Revenge the movie but so much better!!

Hmmmm, this one gave me mixed feelings, but by the end, I enjoyed it.
Messy queer kids in the Bible Belt being chaotic and finding their true selves. CQ has once again created a cast of characters that made me feel emotions. It’s found family and coming of age and GAY.
I will say — the author almost lost me in the first half. Our main characters are VERY MESSY. They’re immature and over the top in the way teenagers can be and my 30 year old brain could NOT relate at ALL. All this nonsense, and for what? GIRL, PLEASE. I wasn’t a fan. However, halfway through, things started to get INTERESTING, a little drama, a little self discovery, then the plot TWISTED and surprised me. The story started going in a new direction and I was here for it! I love when that happens.
