Still loving this series

With every book I read in this series I don’t want it to end and I like guessing who the next book will be about and how the relationship will be. I’m loving this series very much and can’t wait to get to the next book.

Randy and Lily's tale has become my top pick! Randy, a decent man carrying some past burdens, meets Lily, who's tough on the outside yet tender at heart. They agree to keep things casual, but soon emotions complicate matters. There was a moment I almost wanted to leap into the book and give Randy a wake-up call, but he ultimately won me over. For fans of hockey romance, this is a must-read.

Like in previous books in this series I found girl character annoying, slut shaming is always unnecessary. Anyway at times they were just ok but I will continue this series.

This One Hit The Feels!😍🏒🥅⛸️
Pucked Over: Pucked #3
By: Helena Hunting
🎧 Audiobook Narrated by: Rose Dioro and Jacob Morgan
Length: 10 hrs and 59 mins
📖 Ebook

This was a good audiobook. It could've been improved by using dual narration as that really would've upped all of the interactions to another level.🔥♥️🎧

I absolutely loved these two characters. Lily was nothing like she came across in Pucked #1. She was so much sweeter and kinder!🫶 Randy always came across as a huge puck bunny player, but with more common sense than Lance. Lol In fact, he turned out to be incredibly vulnerable and quite insecure.🥰

This story is about them navigating their animalistic attraction and how to do it without letting catching feelings!🙄

3.5 a cute book but a forgettable one in the end. a lot of little details pissed me off because they didn’t make sense they were just easy and the author was lazy, or the casual misogyny that can be found throughout the book really pissed me off. also saying that a woman with no boobs is not a woman is pretty unbecoming but there’s an obsession with boobs in the whole series given how many times violet’s boobs are refered to here even though she’s not the FMC in this book.

anyway as i said, i’ll have forgotten all of that by my next read anyway

edit : i am reading for the second time years (?) later, i’m not even halfway through it yet - i have to say i wasn’t wronf in my first review i DID totally forget that i had read this book before. nothing rings a bell so far, without gr i wonder whether i would have ever known

BUT i did enjoy rereading randylily are really cute and maybe i was harsh in my first review (though there’s a weird obsession with sex, big boobs, big d* from this author that i’m meh about)

The third book in this Pucked world delivers another incredible couple that's a perfect match in every possible way. However I don't think it fully reached its potential. Within the lines there lies a sensitive topic which I would have loved to be explored a little more and deeper. Because it made this story so much more real and relatable.
Nevertheless, Pucked Over is definitely an entertaining and enthralling read and a great addition to the series.

This is the third book in the Pucked series. What I really like about this series it that old characters don't disappear and main characters are already familiar. The author doesn't have to spend chapters introducing them. Pucked Over is the story of Randy and Lily. As the reader, I got to pick up where they left off in Pucked Up. I started reading and the laughs started coming. I laughed so hard that the husband couldn't stand it. It didn't take long for him to start reading the story. At times I don't know who was laughing harder louder. I do know that we didn't go to bed until we finished. I do know that we didn't realize how late it was becoming. I do know that the lack of sleep was worth it.
Lily was looking for a rebound. Randy was looking for simple. Easy right??? It might have been easy if they lived in the same country. It might have been easy if Lily didn't have to work two jobs. It might have been easy if they kept emotion out of it.
What Lily doesn't know is that Randy has avoided puck bunnies since Alex's cabin. What Randy didn't know know is that lily doesn't do casual. What does all of this mean? It means that you will cry tears of laughter. It means you will cry tears of joy. It means you will cry tears of sadness. It means you will get frustrated. It means that you will get angry. It means you will cheer. It means you will smile. And in the end you will know that you got more than your money's worth for Pucked Over.

That was such a fun read! Definitely better than Pucked UP, and fighting really close for the first place as my favorite book in the series along with Puck.
This book was a romance comedy full of some laugh out loud moments and some really hot steamy sex scenes. But it also had some insightful moments too, that I must confess made me tear up a little. Those were some Lily moments.
I loved the characters! Lily, the female lead was funny and snarky. One thing I love about Helena Hunting's books is all the slang she throws there. Besides that, her story (Lily's) was really complex and I the reason I didn't give it 5 stars it's because I wish the story would have developed more of that side of the characters, but I also know that the series is not about that, so I don't complain too much.
Randy, the male character, was really hot, I mean, have you look at that cover? It's definitely worth some swooning and not just for the cover, because he was fun too and definitely attractive as a character. I wish we could have seen more of him, more of the story with his family and I think there was something fishy going on with his dad, so...

Overall the story was fun, it was good and perfect for a summer read (It's summer here were I live) Also, I felt butterflies in my tummy and that is always very good when reading a book, it means I am feeling the story, the romance. And I so did, I felt the chemistry between them, maybe not with such passion from the beginning but it was definitely there! :)

P.S. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
