The female audiobook narrator was robotic, and I couldn’t get over the hard “a” every time it came up in a sentence. The characters were not likable. I know it’s a dark romance, but I was just disgusted for the entire time I spent listening, hoping it would get better. I finally gave up.

Spoilers ahead: This was one of the worst things I’ve ever read. There were no content warnings when this is very much a DARK romance (if you can even call it that). The mmc is absolutely vile and insane. He ruins the fmc’s entire life (gets her evicted, fired, sabotages her birth control, tracks her phone, drugs her and chains her to the bed so she won’t leave) and somehow she still stays with him. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
