🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ I actually read book 3 first and loved it. Going backwards is nice to finally have more context on Lincoln and Monroe. I liked the story overall and the pacing, but I didn't care for a lot of Lincoln's red flags. I felt like all the suspense leading up to revealing their secrets to each other (for linc his brother, for Monroe her mom) it was very anticlimactic.

Since reading out of order, it's clear the writing and series gets even better so I enjoyed this starting point intro into the Dallas Knights.
